Super Saturday Crafts

Super Saturday will be featuring several crafts this year.  

There's so many cute ones...the hard part is going to be deciding.  Sign up for one, sign up for all them all, it's totally your choice.  In addition, they'll be classes held during the Super Saturday too!

Here's a description and picture of all the crafts we'll be having this year.  Please note that these crafts may require a prepaid fee (due by Sept. 21st) or may require you to bring your own materials.  We've also included the color/size options, supplies you'll need to bring, and a cost for each craft.    

Of course, you can always check out these items at church on Sunday too.  They'll be on display by the Relief Society room.  

In addition to the prepaid or bring your own material crafts, they'll be two FREE crafts, (1) a card making station, and (2) Swedish paper heart ornaments.

Glass Etching 

Etch any personalized name onto the back of a clear glass baking dish.  

Options:  9x9 or 9x13

Supplies you'll need to bring:  Clear, glass pyrex dish in the size you're wanting to do

Cost:  $3 for 9x9 or $4 for 9x13

Faux Pallet Tray

Tray made out of wood for home decor

Options:  Choose your color -- Red, White, Brown, Teal, or Bring Your Own Paint (BYOP)

Cost: $10 for selected paint color; $8 if you bring your own paint (BYOP)

Wooden Nativity with Star

Create a simple nativity with Joseph, Mary, and baby Jesus made out of blocks of wood.

Cost: $5

Jewelry Holder

Picture frame jewelry holder with mesh backing and doorknobs to hold all your favorite jewelry.

Options: Black or White

Cost: $10

Wooden Growth Chart

Wooden growth chart that looks like a giant ruler to track the growth of all those precious ones in your life 

Options: Red, White, Brown, Teal

Cost: $10

Table Runner

Fabric runner made with seasonal fabric or supplies you bring

Options: Select seasonal fabric (Fall, Halloween, Christmas) or Bring Your Own Fabric (BYOF)  

Supplies you need to bring:  *If BYOF, you'll need 1/3 yard for fabric for bottom/sides, and 1/3 yard for fabric top/center, 2 large buttons, and thread.

Cost:  Seasonal fabric - $8.50 or BYOF - FREE

Chap Stick Holder

Make a fun chap stick holder out of ribbon that has a clasp to attach to your key chain

Cost: $1.15

Crocheted Scarf

Create a unique scarf that is simple and easy to crochet

Supplies: You'll need to bring 1 skein of specialty yarn and crochet hooks (G, F, H)

Note that 1 skein of yarn can create 2-3 scarfs.

Cost:  No additional cost 

Burlap Wreaths 

Burlap wreath made 3 different ways to coordinate with the seasons

Options:  Halloween (Boo!), Fall/Thanksgiving, and Christmas

Cost: $11

Mason Jar Soap Dispenser

Soap dispenser made out of a pint sized Mason jar

Options: variety of colors will be available
